I AM ME AND WORTHY
I had heard a lot of amazing conversations about this programme and Shiree as a facilitator from a best friend of mine who was engaged in the programme. I decided that I would participate as through work my team had referred a lot of people to this programme and had a lot of amazing results. I figured that if I have my team referring to a programme then I better see what the programme is about for myself.
Shiree has a non-judgemental personality and was able to ask questions that made me feel comfortable in trusting her with my own personal story. I would never have done that if I felt she wasn’t genuine either. Myself and a work friend/colleague that attended are both qualified Social Workers and have worked in the field of trauma for many years. We both walked in as critical thinkers but both finished the programme with a more in depth appreciation for the programme and a different view on what others experience and how their journeys have impacted their lives. I guess what I’m saying is that we walked in thinking because of our experience there wasn’t anything we didn’t know but we actually learnt a lot. What we learnt was that it goes back to the basics. Listening, understanding with a genuine good caring heart, and the want to support people to change their lives without all the frilly red tape is what people are looking for.
Due to my experience in the field that I work within I’ve seen many people do good work with people and then sadly many people that have not done their best especially with broken people. I would highly recommend Shiree working with anybody as she is non-judgemental, she actively listens which is a skill in its self and she is empathetic. I believe she has the right balance to be able to uplift and motivate people to want to be the best they can possibly be.
Annoymous due to work.
